三维设计技术是当前世界上普遍采用的先进设计方法。通过回顾ALSTOM与广东电力设计研究院（GEDI）在岭澳核电站工程中开展的三年多的三维合作设计经历，阐述了在设计过程中成功运用的一些设计管理办法及应用程序，并就核电设计自主化引进三维设计技术的重要性、我们目前尚存的不足以及应该开展的准备工作等方面给出了一些思路。
