选取郑单958、辽单565、京科25玉米品种作为研究对象，从玉米籽粒的数字图像中提取与玉米籽粒的颜色、形状、尺寸等有关的6个形态结构参数，利用支持向量机(SVM)算法进行训练识别，同时与BP人工神经网络(NN)方法进行比较，结果表明，SVM算法识别效率较高，达到92.3%。
