非高斯相关杂波背景下的目标检测具有重要的实际意义，但在该背景下建立似然比检测模型非常困难。以SG-Alpha （subGaussian-Alpha）稳定分布作为非高斯相关杂波分布模型，导出了雷达目标的Rao检测模型。该模型适应于一般非高斯相关杂波下的目标检测，且易于实现。仿真及实测数据验证表明，在非高斯相关杂波条件下本文提出的方法明显优于传统的检测方法。
