据《日刊工业新闻》2015年9月8日报道,日本产业技术总合研究所(产总研)的名誉研究员原田晃和鹤岛修夫主任研究员开发的海水氢离子浓度指数(pH)测定法,得到了国际标准化组织(ISO)的认可,并成为国际标准。该标准有可在海底蓄水层储存二氧化碳时,用于监测二氧化碳是否有泄漏及泄漏程度。
