研制完成了一套具有4个波长同时输出的多波长全光纤激光器。该激光器经实验测试，其各项性能指标均达到认定书指标要求。将该激光器在该课题组自行研制的WDM全光纤通信系统中联机进行了实验测试，在通信距离100公里条件下完成了发射、接收和上下载实验；实验表明，该激光器具有实际应用价值和巨大的市场开发前景。此外、在完成项目过程中，先后在核心期刊上发表学术论文7篇，申请发明专利2项。
